One life to live and only one,
For without Christ, I am none.
For this is not my life to live,
But for You my life I will give.
If you ignore what I say,
Then it is to your life's dismay.
For Christ does not want to lose your soul,
But He wants to gain control.
Lord, remove all the dross,
So that they may see the cross.
If I speak not of You,
I am failing at what I am supposed to do.
